Job Description

This role involves analyzing complex manufacturing processes and equipment to understand automation needs, creating software specifications, and participating in Agile scrum teams. Key tasks include performing risk and gap assessments, managing project priorities, and resolving issues. The position requires a strong engineering or science background, with preferred experience in manufacturing system analysis, automation, and regulated environments, contributing to life-changing discoveries in genomics.
Must have:
  • Analyze complex Manufacturing processes and equipment to gain understanding of end-to-end automation needs.
  • Create use cases, user requirements, wireframes, and software specifications as well as UML context diagram and entity relationship diagram.
  • Participate in Agile scrum teams with product owner, scrum master, and development team.
  • Perform risk assessment, gap assessment, and return of investment (ROI)
  • Manage priorities, support project management in the development of work breakdown structure, level of effort estimates and overall project planning.
  • Identify root cause, manage and resolve issues when possible or escalate risks/problem situations as needed.
Good to have:
  • 3 years of experience in Manufacturing system analysis, software systems engineering, or equivalent role.
  • 1 or more years of experience in automating and integration manufacturing equipment (strongly preferred knowledge of Semiconductor industry, SECS-GEM standards or filly systems).
  • Experience with Manufacturing systems including MES, ERP, and PLM.
  • Experience working in regulated environments - ISO and GMP.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to enable effective communication and influencing of team members, peers, senior business and corporate leaders.
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving, quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and a track record of high performance and superior delivery.

Requirements:

  • B.S or higher Degree in Engineering or Science is required.
  • 3 years of experience in Manufacturing system analysis, software systems engineering, or equivalent role preferred.
  • 1 or more years of experience in automating and integration manufacturing equipment (strongly preferred knowledge of Semiconductor industry, SECS-GEM standards or filly systems) preferred.
  • Experience with Manufacturing systems including MES, ERP, and PLM preferred.
  • Experience working in regulated environments - ISO and GMP preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to enable effective communication and influencing of team members, peers, senior business and corporate leaders.

The estimated base salary range for the role based in the United States of America is: $73,400 - $110,200. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
