Job Description

As an Engineer focused on Game Security at Bungie, you will design and maintain anti-cheat protections and detections for worlds that inspire friendships. You'll collaborate with data scientists and analysts to improve cheat detections, stay updated on cybersecurity developments, and work with external security partners. This role involves ensuring fair and honest gameplay by identifying current and future security needs and implementing workable solutions.

Must Have:
  • Architect, develop, and maintain anti-cheat technology in our C/C++ game client(s)
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop and improve cheat detections
  • Keep abreast of developments in the cybersecurity and OS development industries
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external security partners
  • Help come up with policies that improve our security landscape
  • C/C++ application development (optimized code, data layout, robust access patterns)
  • Low-level debugging skills (multi-threaded debugging, optimized code debugging, etc.)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple disciplines and specializations
  • Knowledgeable about Windows APIs and Windows Kernel internals

REQUIRED SKILLS

Listed below is this role's base pay range. In other locations that Bungie has approved for remote work, this pay range may be adjusted up to +/- 10% and some roles may be classified as non-exempt (hourly).

This range is determined by an array of factors, including training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Additionally, it is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
