Job Summary

As a Software Engineer, you will design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and utility programs. You will collaborate with various engineering teams to design system-level software solutions. Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, integrating build, integration, and test processes, optimizing orchestration workflows, managing source control, and developing automation scripts.
Must Have
- Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for large-scale software systems.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate build, integration, and test processes seamlessly.
- Optimize orchestration workflows using tools like Electric Commander, Jenkins, and Hudson.
- Manage source control and code quality tools such as Git, Perforce, Gerrit, and Klocwork.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Perl, and Shell scripting.
- Ensure adherence to SDLC best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve build and integration issues.
- 1-3 years experience of CI/CD practices, processes, and tools.
- Strong understanding of SDLC with hands-on development experience in Python, C and C++.
- Proficiency in orchestration tools (Electric Commander, Jenkins, Hudson).
- Expertise in SCM and code quality tools (Git, Perforce, Gerrit, Klocwork).
- Advanced scripting skills in Python, Perl, and Shell.
- Excellent communication skills, strong work ethic, and a positive attitude.
- Hands on Experience with JavaScript, PHP, GraphQL, Flask APIs, Django, and Angular JS.
- Familiarity with Databases and writing SQL queries.
Good to Have
- Experience with AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, etc.).
- Experience in creating dockers and deployment.
- Exposure to AI/ML methodologies and integrating them into CI workflows.

Qualcomm Software Engineers collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
