Lead a team of full-stack engineers building voice-AI-driven TV gaming experiences on platforms like Roku and Fire TV. Drive strategic product decisions, manage team performance, foster collaboration with cross-functional partners, and establish robust operational processes and scalable architectures. Responsibilities include prioritizing the tech roadmap, recruiting, and ensuring the delivery of reliable applications. The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for gaming innovation. This is a hybrid position requiring on-site presence in the Bay Area office 3 days a week (MWF).
Must have:
  • 2+ years leading high-performing engineering teams
  • 6+ years as a developer (game dev or complex platform experience a plus)
  • Technical credibility in leading teams and building scalable architectures

Role summary

We’re looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team creating flagship voice-AI-driven TV experiences. You will empower a team of full-stack engineers working across platforms like Roku and Fire TV to deliver innovative and best-in-class voice-activated gaming experiences.

You’ll play a pivotal role in driving team ownership and accountability, fostering a collaborative environment with product, design, data, and business partners to define priorities and align on shared strategies. By establishing robust operational processes and scalable architectures, you’ll ensure the delivery of reliable applications while encouraging experimentation and learning. With our active expansion of game titles and platforms, this is an exciting opportunity to lead a mission-oriented team shaping the future of voice-activated gaming on connected devices.

This job opportunity offers a hybrid work arrangement, and we are specifically seeking candidates who are comfortable with on-site attendance in our Bay Area office 3 times per week (MWF) and are either currently residing in or near the Bay Area or willing to relocate for on-site work.

  • Build relationships with your team and partners, establishing regular 1:1s.

For Pay Transparency: The salary range that we expect to pay for this position is $166,881-$208,601 annually. This is a portion of the pay band for the role and level we are seeking. The final offer amount will depend on experience, education and skills. Base pay is only one part of the total package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work
