Job Description

Apple is seeking an Engineering Program Manager for the Health Team to partner with cross-functional teams to deliver health content. The role involves working with editorial and video production teams to understand content production workflows and delivery, and liaising with engineering teams to establish technical specifications for media delivery and processing. The ideal candidate will contribute to innovative consumer-focused features, manage content ingestion and delivery, execute deliverables on time, and drive clarity in a collaborative environment. This is a site-based role.

This is a site-based role.

This person will partner closely with the Health Content team, including editorial and video production teams, to understand content production workflows and delivery. In addition, they will liaise with multiple engineering teams to establish technical specifications and processes for media delivery and processing.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience as a technical software project or program manager
  • Strong experience in driving complex and multi-functional software projects and integrations
  • Experience in the realm of media post-production, ingestion and processing, spanning audio, video, text and images
  • Experience defining metadata media needs/requirements and developing/adapting tooling to support it
  • Experience with CMSs, DAMs, MAMs, ie, any asset management platform
  • Strong understanding of media file types and deliverables

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,100 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
