Job Description

As an Enterprise Business Development Representative at Sword Health, you will contribute to their mission to eliminate pain for billions of people using AI. Your responsibilities include collaborating with sales and marketing to educate potential customers about the Sword solution and create demand. You will also drive early conversations with consultants and potential clients, uncover key details to help the sales team, drive attendance to marketing events, and track sales activities and KPIs using a CRM. Additionally, you will work closely with the sales team, research accounts, process inbound leads, and support the sales team at conferences. This role is crucial for scaling global impact within a hyper-growth environment.
Must have:
  • 2+ years of sales development experience

What you can expect in this role:
This is an amazing opportunity to be part of our early days and to make your mark at Sword.  To develop great relationships in the healthcare space, to represent a product and platform that are strongly admired, to grow your skills and experience as a business development professional and to create as much success as you can manage.  At Sword, your success is up to you.  Sword Business Development Representatives partner with sales and marketing to educate potential customers about the Sword solution in order to create and capture demand.  As a Sword BDR, you will drive early conversations with consultants and potential clients and uncover important details that will assist the sales team during early stages of the sales process.

What you'll be doing:

    • Work closely with the sales team in your assigned territory to help create and execute pipeline growth plans
    • Drive outbound prospecting through account and contact research
    • Work closely with benefit consultants to drive awareness and create connections within local offices
    • Process inbound lead qualification from email campaigns and website inquiries
    • Drive attendance to marketing events, conferences and trade shows.
    • Work within our CRM to track, analyze, and report on sales activities and KPIs while taking ownership in improving and creating various sales-related processes
    • Communicate directly with various points of contact within our partnerships team to advance the sales effort
    • Support the sales team at conferences and in-person meetings

What you need to have:

    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred 
    • At least two years of work experience in a sales development or proven track record of success in a similar role 
    • Experience in a customer service and relationship-building role
    • Experience in the benefits, wellness or healthcare or SaaS space
    • Experience in a role that has required curiosity, as well as great conversation and expert listener skills in order to be successful
    • Experience hitting goals both through personal contributions and through collaboration with others
    • Desire to make a difference at Sword Health as well as for our members
    • Track record of resilience and success (can be from business, sports, arts, hobbies, or anything that requires dedication and perseverance)
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Apps, LinkedIn, and CRMs (Salesforce)
    • Intellectual curiosity (deeper, open-minded and creative thinking to solve problems)
    • Well-organized and self-motivated behaviors and prove-its that they thrive in environments with limited oversight or managerial intervention
    • Ability to adapt in a hyper growth fast changing environment
