As an Enterprise Group Senior Manager, you will lead a team of Enterprise Key Account Managers and Senior Key Account Managers. Your primary responsibilities include developing long-term relationships with major and strategic merchants, leading engagement, and providing Gojek solutions to generate sales. You will also lead game plans for joint business plan delivery. This role involves working closely with Sales Strategy, Sales Planning, Products Team, and other key stakeholders to develop Gojek's Enterprise business, requiring dynamic and analytical thinking with a passion for leveraging digital platforms.
Must have:
  • Build and maintain strategic, productive relationships with merchants, C-Level.
  • Identify macro and micro market trends, analyze external factors affecting merchant performance.
  • Guide the team by providing strategies and building blocks using Gojek’s product portfolio.
  • Guide the team in developing and executing end-to-end joint business plans.
  • Represent merchants internally, and coordinate with other teams to meet merchant needs.
  • Lead problem-solving initiatives to ensure successful execution and boost Gojek’s profitability.
  • Lead and develop the team’s skills in problem-solving, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
Good to have:
  • Additional experience in the F&B, retail, or groceries industry

About the Role

As our Enterprise Group Senior Manager, you’ll be in charge to lead the team members (Enterprise Key Account Managers and Enterprise Senior Key Account Managers) and to develop long-term relationships with a portfolio of major & strategic merchants, lead engagement, provide best-fitted Gojek solutions that will generate sales, and to lead game plans to enable delivery of joint business plan/target. Working closely with Sales Strategy, Sales Planning, Products Team, and others key stakeholders, you’ll take the wheel in developing Enterprise business for Gojek.

What You Will Do

  • Build and maintain strategic, productive relationships with merchants, C-Level, acting as a trusted advisor by applying deep knowledge of industries, market trends, and business challenges
  • Identify macro and micro market trends, correlate mid- and long-term issues, analyze external factors affecting merchant performance, and propose actionable recommendations to mitigate risks or drive growth
  • Guide the team by providing strategies and building blocks using Gojek’s product portfolio, and support them in building a long-term, sustainable pipeline to achieve sales targets and drive merchant growth.
  • Guide the team in developing and executing end-to-end joint business plans, monitoring merchant performance against targets, creating sales forecasts based on Gojek’s plans and market conditions, assessing competitors, and anticipating business challenges
  • Represents merchants internally, and coordinates with other teams to meet merchant needs and support sales and business growth
  • Lead problem-solving initiatives to ensure successful execution and boost Gojek’s profitability and merchant investment
  • Lead and develop the team’s skills in problem-solving, negotiation, and stakeholder management through coaching, training, and performance reviews to achieve business goals and build a high-performing team.

What You Will Need

  • Holds a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Marketing, Business, Economics, or Communications
  • Has at least 8 years of relevant experience in managing international/multinational merchants and/or top nation-wide brands, with additional experience in the F&B, retail, or groceries industry considered a plus
  • Possesses a minimum of 3 years of experience in managing a team
  • A passionate, tech-savvy, self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong eagerness to learn
  • Demonstrates the ability to influence others with a strong drive and passion to achieve sales targets and goals, and maintains a result-oriented mindset
  • Capable of leveraging data analytical skills to provide strategic direction, manage conflict, and develop effective resolutions.
  • Able to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced, and high-pressure environments
  • Exhibits strong presentation skills for engaging top decision makers or senior management, excels in negotiation and deal-closing, is proficient in MS Office Suite and similar tools, and is fluent in English

About the Team

Our Enterprise team is part of the broader Sales team based in Jakarta, Indonesia. We help our Enterprise merchants to grow through a consultative approach, starting from understanding the need of industry as well as the influencing factors that drive the growth, identify pain points of the merchants, and develop the solutions according to our comprehensive understanding of the merchants. Our deliverable is very important to GoJek since the merchants that we manage are strategic, hence, the success of our role will help to strengthen GoJek's reputation in the industry.

Developing our business by helping our merchants to grow is our mission. We have done a remarkable achievement by providing various GoJek services to our merchants that have given a positive impact to our merchant’s business during this pandemic situation.
