Our client is seeking an Epic Application Analyst II contractor for the Digital Division – Pharmacy Service Line. This role supports a Specialty Pharmacy PMP Project, focusing on building and implementing specialty pharmacy workflows for PMP and PTC departments to achieve 340B status. Responsibilities include configuring, building, and supporting Epic modules, collaborating with teams, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
Must have:
  • Configure, build, and support Epic modules (Compass Rose, Pop Health, Willow Ambulatory)
  • Collaborate with project managers, clinicians, and technical teams
  • Participate in project planning, testing, and validation activities
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, and document application issues
  • Assist with integration of specialty pharmacy workflows
  • Support ongoing system enhancements and upgrades
  • Ensure build decisions align with organizational standards and regulatory requirements
  • 3+ years of Epic build/support experience
  • Experience implementing pharmacy-related Epic projects
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows
  • Ability to translate requirements into Epic build solutions
  • Demonstrated success managing project timelines and deliverables
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Good to have:
  • Certification in Epic Willow Ambulatory, Epic Specialty Pharmacy (Compass Rose), or Epic Population Health
  • Prior work on specialty pharmacy implementations and PMP/340B compliance projects
  • Experience in large health system environments

Job Details

Our client is a seeking an Epic Application Analyst II contractor in the Digital Division – Pharmacy Service Line to support a Specialty Pharmacy PMP Project. This role will focus on the build and implementation of specialty pharmacy workflows to support PMP and PTC departments, with the goal of achieving 340B status for high-cost medications.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure, build, and support Epic modules with a focus on Compass Rose Specialty Pharmacy, Population Health (Pop Health), and/or Willow Ambulatory.
  • Collaborate with project managers, clinicians, and technical teams to design and optimize workflows for specialty pharmacy operations.
  • Participate in project planning, testing, and validation activities to ensure timely and accurate implementation.
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, and document application issues; escalate as needed to senior analysts or Epic support.
  • Assist with integration of specialty pharmacy workflows into existing Epic infrastructure.
  • Support ongoing system enhancements and upgrades related to Epic pharmacy applications.
  • Ensure build decisions align with organizational standards, compliance, and regulatory requirements (including 340B program goals).

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Epic build/support experience required.
  • Certification in Epic Willow Ambulatory, Epic Specialty Pharmacy (Compass Rose), or Epic Population Health strongly preferred.
  • Experience implementing pharmacy-related Epic projects, particularly in specialty or ambulatory settings.
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows and ability to translate requirements into Epic build solutions.
  • Demonstrated success managing project timelines and deliverables in a healthcare IT environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior work on specialty pharmacy implementations and PMP/340B compliance projects.
  • Experience in large health system environments.
