Job Description
This is a collaborative and highly technical role where you will work closely with designers and engineers to perform critical data analysis and communicate trends, conclusions, and comparisons. Your work will influence design direction within the engineering team, across other development teams at Apple, and with management. You will be responsible for presenting your findings and discoveries. Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, slide presentations, and participation in working meetings, are essential. You will frequently learn and work with various statistical and 3D software tools. You will have the freedom to create your own scripts or collaborate with suppliers on new tools if existing software does not meet your analytical needs. The ideal candidate enjoys working with large datasets using computer software, excels at creating clear and visually appealing presentations of analysis, and is passionate about using data to make informed, scientific decisions.

You’ll be asked to personally present your findings and communicate what you’ve discovered. Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, slide presentations, and participating in working meetings are key. You can expect to learn and work frequently with various statistical and 3D software tools. If a software program doesn’t exist to perform the analysis you need, you’ll have the freedom to create your own scripts or work with suppliers on new tools to develop your analysis. The ideal candidate for this role loves to work with large data sets using computer software tools, has a knack for clear and visually appealing presentations of analysis, and is passionate about using data to make well-informed, scientific decisions.
