The ETD Clearing Strategy & Solutions Manager is responsible for designing, driving, and executing the Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD) Clearing strategy and growing the Calypso ETD Clearing business. This role requires a deep understanding of ETD clearing processes across FCMs and End Users, market trends, and digital clearing mechanisms. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing ETD Clearing strategies, analyzing market trends, overseeing initiative execution, managing Go To Market for Calypso ETD Clearing, collaborating with stakeholders, managing P/L, fostering external relationships, and staying updated on technological advancements.
Must have:
  • Develop and implement an ETD Clearing strategy to enhance business growth and market position.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for expansion within the ETD Clearing market.
  • Oversee the execution of ETD Clearing initiatives, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Own, run and manage the Go To Market for ETD Clearing within the Calypso Solution.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align the ETD Clearing strategy with overall business objectives.
  • Manage the ETD Clearing P/L as we execute our growth in the business.
  • Foster relationships with external partners, institutions, and stakeholders to present, pitch and promote the Calypso ETD Clearing services.
  • Stay abreast of technological advancements and best practices in the ETD Clearing domain to ensure the business remains at the forefront.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Proven experience in managing operations and initiatives in the ETD Clearing space.
  • Strong expertise in end-to-end ETD clearing operations ideally within an FCM/Clearing Member environment.
  • An excellent understanding of technology solutions in ETD Clearing.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from data and market research.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Commercial and business awareness to drive sales success.
  • Prior responsibility managing a P/L of a business.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

The ETD Clearing Strategy & Solutions Manager is responsible for designing, driving, and executing the Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD) Clearing strategy and growing the Calypso ETD Clearing business. This role requires a deep understanding of ETD clearing processes across FCMs and End Users, market trends, and digital clearing mechanisms.

  • Develop and implement an ETD Clearing strategy to enhance business growth and market position.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for expansion within the ETD Clearing market.

The base pay range for this role is $220,000 - $260,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
