Job Description
As a BI ETL Test Engineer, you are responsible for testing BI systems. This involves validating the business data flow, ETL components, data lineage, and ETL architecture, and analyzing defects during data validation. You will set up testing strategies, recommend tools, perform technical feasibility and risk assessments. You will be a subject matter expert in this area of specialized testing, possessing a good technical knowledge of Databases, Unix/Linux, and ETL and BI Tools. You are expected to develop testing strategies, recommend tools, perform technical feasibility, conduct risk assessments and build business cases (ROI).
Must have:
- Understand business data flow and ETL components
- Analyze defects during data validation
- Good technical knowledge of Databases, Unix/Linux, ETL and BI tools

As a BI ETL Test Engineer, you take care of the testing of BI systems. This includes validation of the business data flow , ETL components, data lineage, ETL architecture and you are able to analyze defects during data validation. This includes setting up testing strategy, recommend tools, perform technical feasibility and risk assessments.
Primary Skills
As a BI ETL Test Specialist, you are expected to be subject matter expert in this area of specialised testing. This includes understanding the business data flow , ETL components, data lineage, ETL architecture and are able to analyze defects during data validation. You have a good technical knowledge on Databases, Unix/Linux and ETL and BI Tools. You are expected to develop testing strategy, recommend tools, perform technical feasibility, conduct risk assessments and build business cases (ROI). You are expected to own delivery of specialised testing projects. You are expected to work independently to provide technical support and guidance.
