Overview
The Manager, Events & Tradeshows is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of GHX’s flagship customer conference and tradeshow program. Reporting to the Senior Program Manager, Events and Experiential Marketing, this role focuses on tactical logistics, vendor management, and event operations to ensure seamless execution of both the annual GHX Summit, North American tradeshows and special events. The Manager will work closely with cross-functional partners and external vendors to deliver high-quality, engaging event experiences that strengthen the GHX brand and drive customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of GHX Summit, including vendor coordination, registration, logistics, and on-site support.
- Own and manage the end-to-end event registration process, including platform setup, attendee communications, troubleshooting, reporting and onsite registration desk management.
- Manage day-to-day execution of North American tradeshows, including booth logistics, sponsorship deliverables, shipping, setup/teardown, and lead capture processes.
- Coordinate timelines, project plans, and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met across multiple stakeholders and multiple events.
- Work with vendors and partners to ensure quality execution of event services, including AV, catering, and production.
- Track event budgets and support reconciliation processes.
- Assist in creating event overview and run-of-show documents, event briefs, and post-event reports.
- Contribute to the development of repeatable processes and templates for event execution.
- Stay current on event tools and best practices, making recommendations to improve efficiency and impact.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in tradeshow and event planning, preferably within a corporate or B2B environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple overlapping events and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience managing vendors, negotiating contracts, and coordinating logistics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with event management and registration platforms; experience with project management tools (Swoogo, Asana) preferred.
- Healthcare industry experience a plus.
The compensation for this role is:$78,000- $104,000
The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the GHX’s salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on various factors, such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of GHX’s total compensation package for employees.
