As Event Manager for Goliath and Lucky Duck Games, you will report to the French Marketing Director and collaborate with the Hobby Network Director. Your primary role will be to develop and execute the event strategy, organizing all B2C and B2B events across France, including fairs, festivals, and tournaments. Key responsibilities include prospecting B2C events, product selection, B2B fair participation, and managing event budgets. You will also recruit, train, and manage animation teams, ensuring successful event execution and reporting.

  • 2+ years of experience in event management, preferably in the board game industry
  • Knowledge of modern board games
  • Good knowledge of technical aspects of event management

EVENT MANAGER FRANCE M/F

Goliath BV is a family business, international manufacturer and distributor of board games for children and families, and toys. In 2024, Goliath acquired Lucky Duck Games, the famous board game publisher notably recognized for its award-winning hybrid board games such as Chronicles of Crime and Destinies.

As Event Manager, reporting to the French Marketing Director and in close collaboration with the Hobby Network Director, you will be responsible for developing the event strategy and organizing all BtoC & BtoB events for the Goliath and Lucky Duck Games product ranges.

You will be notably responsible for:

  • Proposing and implementing the event strategy in collaboration with the marketing director
  • Preparing and organizing events in France (Fairs, Festivals, Tours, Tournaments…)
  • Prospecting and qualifying B2C events
  • Recommending the selection of products to be featured at B2C events
  • Organizing and participating in B2B fairs in collaboration with the sales team
  • Recruiting, training, and managing animation teams
  • Managing and monitoring the event budget
  • Reporting and debriefing events

Requirements

Job requirements:

  • +2 years of experience in event management, preferably in the board game industry
  • You are a player and know the world of modern board games
  • You have good knowledge of the technical aspects of event management

Qualities and skills:

  • Very good sense of organization and planning
  • Flexible and resistant to stress
  • Cost control and budget monitoring
  • You are dynamic, sociable, and know how to coordinate teams

Benefits

Compensation: €28K - €35K depending on profile

Experience level: 2 to 5 years

Permanent contract position, on-site at the Gennevilliers location
