Job Description
- Lead effective product architecture and development for EVSE integration.
- Mentor a team of engineers on day-to-day duties.
- Work with leadership on strategic initiatives.
- Provide hands-on technical expertise for design, engineering, deployment, and delivery.
- Drive improvements in technical architecture, standards, and processes.
- Partner with Engineering, Product, and Program Management for technology upgrades.
- Apply best-in-class software engineering practices.
- Possess strong programming knowledge in Backend technologies.
- Be proficient in Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, Node, and Python.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases like Mongo, Cassandra, DynamoDB.
- Apply knowledge of web technologies, design patterns, and architecture principles.
- Familiarity with Frontend development, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and UI/UX design.
- Ensure HA/DR, scalability, performance, and code optimizations.
- Work with highly performant and high-throughput systems.
- Manage and deliver tasks according to schedule.
- Hold a B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
- Have 6+ years of solid software development experience.
- Possess extensive knowledge of at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Understand IoT-based product functionality.
- Apply Agile, TDD, or BDD methodologies.
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture.
- Understand software quality assurance and security principles.
- Collaborate effectively across teams, functions, and geographies.
- Utilize tools like JIRA, Confluence, GIT, and Bitbucket.
- Familiarity with working with any embedded or telecom or hardware product is desirable
- Experience with IoT based systems preferred
- Exposure or knowledge in Renewable Tech companies

About the role
For our EVSE integration team in the Cloud Business Unit we seek experienced IOT/ Cloud SW Technical Leader who will be able to work across multiple products to lead effective product architecture and development
Hands-on in various technologies, Mentor team of Engineers, on day-to-day duties as well as work with leadership team on strategic initiatives
Provide hands-on technical expertise to design, engineer, deploy, and deliver including driving improvements in technical architecture, standards, and processes.
Partner with Engineering, Product Management, Program Management and Professional Services to ensure required technology upgrades/migrations/ and builds are well understood and planned into roadmaps.
What you will be doing
- Strong experience with best-in-class software engineering practices
- Good programming knowledge of Backend
- Polyglot programmer with any combo of Java + Spring Boot, JavaScript + Node, Python
- Adept in multiple databases including SQL + NoSQL (Mongo / Cassandra DB / DynamoDB)
- Good knowledge of web technologies, design patterns and architecture principles
- Familiarity with Frontend development, HTML/CSS, JavaScript and UI/UX design
- Familiar with HA/DR, scalability, performance, code optimizations
- Experience with working with highly performance and throughput systems
- Ability to define, track and deliver items to one’s own schedule
- Good organizational skills and the ability to work on more than one project at a time
- Exceptional attention to detail and good communication skills
Who you are and what you bring
- B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
- 6+ years of solid software development experience
- Extensive knowledge of at least 1 cloud platform (AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP)
- IOT Based product functionality knowledge
- Good knowledge and experience with Agile, TDD or BDD methodologies
- Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture
- Understanding of software quality assurance and security principles
- A technical mindset with great attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate and work across team, functions, and geographies
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, GIT, Bitbucket etc
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS, JavaScript and UI/UX design
- Exposure or knowledge in Renewable Tech companies
- Familiarity with working with any embedded or telecom or hardware product is desirable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with IoT based systems preferred
