Job Description

This field sales position at Broadcom focuses on driving business growth with North American Cloud customers. The role involves developing relationships from engineers to senior executives, defining and executing growth strategies for Broadcom's cloud datacenter products. Key responsibilities include identifying design-in opportunities, leading commercial negotiations, managing sales operations, and aligning with the sales ecosystem to support business expansion.
Must have:
  • Work with the sales director to define and execute the strategy of the cloud datacenter business.
  • Utilize the Broadcom product platform to drive top-line business growth.
  • Develop constructive relationships with customer infrastructure groups and BUs at all levels to grow the Broadcom business.
  • Identify and drive design-in opportunities together with FAEs, AEs, and other BU supporting functions.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and coordinate technical discussions between customers and Broadcom business units.
  • Lead and manage the sales operation process.
  • Lead the sales ecosystem, including the alignment with BU and OEM/ODMs to have a healthy agile ecosystem to support the business growth in customer directly and indirectly.
  • Effectively report the sales activities to executives.
  • Good understanding of the cloud datacenter market and products, such as Ethernet switch, NIC, storage, ASIC, and optical.
Good to have:
  • Prior sales experience at large hyperscaler cloud customers
  • Prior work experience with custom silicon
  • Good understanding of AI/ML technology

This field sales position is responsible for driving the business of Broadcom in North America Cloud customers, developing relationships with customer contacts ranging from engineers to senior technical & business executives, defining and executing the business growth strategy for all Broadcom cloud datacenter products.

Scope of work

  • Work with the sales director to define and execute the strategy of the cloud datacenter business.
  • Utilize the Broadcom product platform to drive top-line business growth.
  • Develop constructive relationships with customer infrastructure groups and BUs at all levels to grow the Broadcom business.

Requirements

  • Prior sales experience at large hyperscaler cloud customers is a plus.
  • Prior work experience with custom silicon is a plus.
  • Good understanding of the cloud datacenter market and products, such as Ethernet switch, NIC, storage, ASIC, and optical. Willing to learn new technology and learn fast.
  • Good understanding of AI/ML technology is a plus.
  • Highly self-motivated, result-driven, willing to confront challenges. Able to work under high pressure.
  • Good teamwork spirit, able to work in a cross-team/multi-team environment.
  • BS degree at a minimum, EE/CS preferred and 12+ years related experience required or Masters degree, EE/CS preferred and 10+ years related experience required.

Compensation and Benefits

The On Target Earnings (OTE) range for this position is $193,800 - $310,000

OTE includes Sales Incentive Commission in accordance with relevant plan documents. This position is also eligible for equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
