They prioritize people, diversity, and transparent practices. Playtech is seeking a Finance Assistant to join their dynamic #PlaytechVF2011 finance team, reporting to the CFO. This role offers an exciting opportunity in a fast-paced, professional environment, supporting key financial operations and decision-making. Must have:
  • Support the Purchase Ledger process, including raising Purchase Orders and ensuring accurate payment matching.
  • Assist operational teams with budget management and expense tracking.
  • Prepare consolidated cost analyses with detailed breakdowns and insightful commentary.
  • Produce consolidated income statements for the CFO.
  • Assist with budget planning and forecasting processes.
  • Support the finance team on timely completion of regulatory report submissions.
  • Manage marketing and operational payments to third parties, verifying invoice accuracy and ensuring timely payments.
  • Ensure accurate month-end provisions and reconciliations.
  • Assist within statutory and internal audits, providing necessary support and documentation.
  • Conduct periodic cost analysis and reporting to aid strategic decision-making.
  • Provide ad hoc financial support to the CCO and CEO as required.
Good to have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Economics
  • Part-qualified accountant or AAT certification
  • Experience with SAP Business One or similar accounting software
  • Background in the gaming industry is highly advantageous

Your influential mission. You will...

Qualifications

Components for success. You have...

  • Proven experience in a Finance Assistant, Financial Accountant, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct numerical discrepancies.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial functions and spreadsheet creation.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • An Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
