Job Summary: We are looking for a "Finance Business Intelligence Analyst" to support the growth of the online dating app "Pairs." At Eureka, there is a culture of valuing data and making business decisions based on it in various decision-making situations. The position we are recruiting for belongs to the BI (Business Intelligence) Team and will be responsible for expanding the scope of data utilization for business decisions and improving the speed and quality of analysis. Specifically, this position will work closely with the Finance Team to build and operate Forecast Models and drive Pairs' decision-making through Risk & Opportunity Analysis. You will also be responsible for implementing a common Financial Data platform across the Group in collaboration with Match Group.

No engineering skills are required at this time. The team will support the necessary skills through OJT. Udemy is available for learning as a Self Growth Benefit. There are also cases where people who were new to data analysis have succeeded through learning.

This position offers the following experiences:

• Experience influencing overall Pairs strategy decisions through data (annual roadmap, regional expansion, major marketing campaign decisions, etc.)
• Experience acquiring and utilizing engineering skills such as SQL, Git, Python, and dbt.
• Experience implementing, maintaining, and operating data infrastructure.
• Experience developing and analyzing in collaboration with Match Group.

What You’ll Do:

• Build and operate Forecast Models in collaboration with the Finance Team.
• Propose strategies through Risk & Opportunity Analysis.
• Design, analyze, and verify the effectiveness of Product / Marketing Initiatives (A/B Testing, Causal Inference).
• Implement and operate Financial Database in collaboration with Match Group.

Basic Qualifications:

• Financial Planning and Analysis experience.
• Experience influencing decision-making through data analysis.
• Passion for solving complex problems.
• Experience promoting cross-functional projects.
• Business level Japanese and English proficiency.
• Desire to improve Engineering Skills (SQL, data pipeline). Current skill level is not required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in data analysis using SQL.
• Experience implementing dashboards with BI tools such as redash / Tableau.
• Experience and knowledge of A/B Test and statistics.
• Experience working with directors and executive members.
