Job Description

Haleon is seeking a Finance Operations Lead for the MEA region to manage Procure to Pay (P2P), Order to Cash (O2C), and Close and Control (C&C) in-market teams across Saudi, Pakistan, Turkey, and Egypt. The role involves strong collaboration with market FDs, driving operational performance, monitoring KPIs/SLAs, ensuring high governance standards, and leading continuous improvement and transformation projects. The lead will also be responsible for people management, coaching teams, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Must have:
  • Managing Procure to Pay (P2P), Order to Cash (O2C) and Close and Control (C&C) in-market teams
  • Strong collaboration and partnering with market FDs
  • Drive delivery and performance at in country operational teams
  • Monitor day-to-day finance services delivery of operations
  • Designing, embedding and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level agreements (SLAs)
  • Ensure high standard of Governance with the Business/Vendors/Customers/Stakeholders
  • Continuous Improvement of WoW, including automation and standardisation initiatives and processes
  • Drive the resolution of issue in strong collaboration with other teams & functions
  • Ensure effective controls and regulatory compliance are met through applicable policies
  • Actively take part in ad hoc projects delivery across regions
  • Lead transformation and standardisation projects
  • Proactively manage stakeholders across the business and external suppliers
  • People management (lead and motivate), cascading strategy and vision, management of daily workload and define priorities whilst also developing and coaching the team
  • University degree – Finance/Accounting/Economic or relevant
  • At least 10 to 12 years’ experience in finance role including managing people and stakeholders
  • Experience of working in a control driven environment
  • Previous experience in managing finance service Teams
Good to have:
  • MBA/CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualification
  • Previous experience in P2P area
  • Account Payable Experience
  • R2R/General Accounting proficiency
  • Accounts Receivables experience
  • SAP knowledge

Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include – but non-exhaustively

  • Managing Procure to Pay (P2P), Order to Cash (O2C) and Close and Control (C&C) in-market teams across certain MEA markets (Saudi, Pakistan, Turkey and Egypt)
  • Strong collaboration and partnering with market FDs to delivery robust finance operations, controls framework, value addition projects
  • Drive delivery and performance at our in country operational teams . The scope of responsibility may evolve depending on the needs.
  • Monitor the day-to-day finance services delivery of operations, designing, embedding and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level agreements (SLAs), best practices, ensuring customer issues are identified and promptly resolved and proactively identifying any issues or risks to the service.
  • Ensure high standard of Governance with the Business/Vendors/Customers/Stakeholders, engaging on regular basis, identify and address issues promptly. Including escalating issues through governance at pace.
  • Continuous Improvement of WoW, including but not limited to automation and standardisation initiatives and processes as well as ensuring issues are solved to the root cause.
  • Drive the resolution of issue in strong collaboration with other teams & functions. Go beyond scope of P2P, O2C and C&C when required to drive changes, improvements and sustainable issue resolution
  • Ensure effective controls and regulatory compliance are met through applicable policies, including leading global A&A where required.
  • Actively take part in ad hoc projects delivery across regions
  • Lead transformation and standardisation projects
  • Proactively manage stakeholders across the business and external suppliers, to partner to improve the service and ensure that support model and service delivery process are well understood and adhered to
  • People management (lead and motivate), cascading strategy and vision, management of daily workload and define priorities whilst also developing and coaching the team in alignment with Haleon Culture –
  • Be a collaborative and active team member & player in line with Haleon Culture

Skills and Competencies:​

We are looking for professionals with these characteristics to achieve our goals:

Basic Education:

  • University degree – Finance/Accounting/Economic or relevant
  • At least 10 to 12 years’ experience in finance role including managing people and stakeholders
  • Experience of working in a control driven environment
  • Previous experience in managing finance service Teams

Preferred Education:

  • Preferred Qualifications: -MBA/CIMA/ACA/ACCA
  • Previous experience in P2P area would be good fit
  • Account Payable Experience
  • R2R/General Accounting proficiency
  • Accounts Receivables experience
  • SAP knowledge
