Remedy Entertainment, the creator of Control®, Max Payne®, Alan Wake®, and one of the leading independent game studios in the world, is looking for a Finance Specialist to join our Finance team!

As a Finance Specialist at Remedy, your main responsibility is to ensure a smooth payroll process, and participate in building Remedy's future success through other financial tasks.

This role offers you an opportunity to start from a focused area around payroll but also to grow in other financial controlling within external and internal finance. You will work directly and independently with our employees but have the support of the larger Finance team behind you.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

  • Autonomously handle the monthly payroll for Finland and Sweden.
  • Execute regulatory payroll reporting and manage payroll auditing.
  • Develop and automate systems and processes.
  • Be one of our Finance Friends supporting Remedy's departments in financial topics.
  • Develop CSRD reporting in cooperation with our Finance Director.
  • Expand your expertise in financial controlling.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

  • You have previous work experience as a Financial Specialist or from a similar role, preferably in payroll management and operating with Finnish payroll systems. Additional experience in accounting and other external finance is a plus.
  • You are proficient in Excel and other Office tools. Experience in reporting and analyzing platforms is beneficial.
  • You have a problem-solving mindset and can comprehend the bigger picture while paying attention to details.
  • You thrive working in a international team environment, sharing ideas and learning from others. You are used to collaborating with colleagues across different departments and you are able to communicate and present your ideas in a clear and coherent way. As a team member you are dedicated contributing towards a friendly and inclusive work environment.
  • You have the capability to work independently, being organized and able to document your work, but also as a team member supporting colleagues and asking for help when needed.
