Job Description

The North America Large Contracts Credit team is seeking a Project Financial Analyst to provide critical support for financial reconciliations of major customer projects. This hybrid role, based in Chicago, requires in-office presence twice a month. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate project logging, revenue recognition, reviewing order validity, and collaborating with billers and collectors for timely billing and cash collection. The analyst will also maintain accounting controls and assist in month-end closing activities.

Good To Have:

Familiarity with Oracle is a strong plus
Familiarity with Salesforce is a strong plus

Must Have:

Ensuring projects are accurately logged and related revenue is recognized
Review validity of orders for release and processing
Work with project billers and collectors to ensure timely billing and cash collection
Adhere to accounting controls and participate in quarterly SOX testing related to the completeness and accuracy of project population and financials
Assist in month end, quarter end, and year end closing activities
Detail oriented, accurate and autonomous, able to meet deadlines
Inquisitive and proactively seek opportunities for improvement
Comfortable with communicating cross-functionally
Facilitate collaboration with internal finance team members as well as external business groups and customers
Strong Excel skills, includes Vlookups, Sumifs, pivot tables, etc.
Finance and/or accounting knowledge
Bachelor's Degree required
1+ years experience in a finance or accounting related role(s)
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
