Job Summary

Within the Finance department of Valeo's LIGHT Division headquarters, you will assist the Management Control team with the following missions: assist the team in the various Reporting and Consolidation processes, contribute to understanding financial performance, be the control interface for intercompany management requests within your scope, and participate in the development of digital tools used by the Finance department.

Must Have

  • Assist the team in various Reporting and Consolidation processes.
  • Contribute to understanding financial performance.
  • Act as the control interface for intercompany management requests.
  • Participate in the development of digital tools for the Finance department.
  • Manage the daily sales reporting dashboard and weekly "best estimates" review.
  • Prepare monthly reports, including planning, closing files, Excel analyses, and Powerpoint presentations.
  • Coordinate the preparation of the budget and forecast process.
  • Assist in preparing ad hoc analyses and coordinate analyses by Division/Product Groups.
  • Participate in digital tool development and support deployment.
  • Master 1 or Master 2 studies with a specialization in Management Control, Corporate Finance, or Financial Information Systems.
  • Minimum 6-month internship duration.
  • Curious, rigorous, proactive, and reactive.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

Good to Have

  • Prior experience with reporting tools, VBA, Python, Google Sheet, Data Studio.
  • Previous experience in Management Control and Financial Reporting.
  • Interest in automotive technologies.

Within the Finance department of Valeo's LIGHT Division headquarters, you will assist the Management Control team with the following missions:

  • Assist the team in the various Reporting and Consolidation processes
  • Contribute to understanding financial performance
  • Be the control interface for intercompany management requests within your scope
  • Participate in the development of digital tools used by the Finance department

Major Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily sales reporting dashboard and the weekly "best estimates" review for the management team.
  • Prepare monthly reports, including updating the planning and closing files, Excel analyses, Powerpoint presentations, and printing consolidated financial statements for management meetings.
  • Coordinate the preparation of the budget and forecast process.
  • Assist in the preparation of ad hoc analyses and coordinate the execution of analyses by Division/Product Groups.
  • Participate in the development of digital tools and support the deployment of tools within the Division/Product Groups.

About you...

  • Your level of study: end of Master 1 or Master 2 studies with a specialization in Management Control / Corporate Finance / Financial Information Systems.
  • You are looking for an internship with a minimum duration of 6 months.
  • You are curious, rigorous, proactive, and reactive.
  • You are proficient in Excel and PowerPoint. Prior experience with reporting tools, VBA, Python, Google Sheet, Data Studio is a plus.
  • Previous experience in Management Control and Financial Reporting is an asset.
  • Our environment is strongly international, which is why a fluent level of written and spoken English is essential.
