Job Description

As a Financial Planning Analyst at Marsh McLennan in Mexico City, you will perform financial analysis, reporting, and recommendations, transforming FP&A approaches for solutions in the US and other countries. Must have:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial presentations
  • Research, identify, and explain expense and operational variances
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, Finance, Mathematics or Actuarial Sciences
  • 2 - 5 years of experience in FP&A process and multicultural relationships with executive roles
  • Advanced English
  • Advanced excel skills

Financial Analyst

Marsh McLennan is seeking candidates for the following position in México City, located in Tamarindos office:

  • As a Financial Planning Analyst, you will perform financial analysis, reporting and recommendations, transforming our FP&A approach to expand solutions in EUA and other countries.

We will count on you to:

  • Ability to work independently under general direction, but will escalate issues and concerns to managers as appropriate
  • Review and analyze basic financial planning information and reports
  • Support month-end close process by reviewing recurring/standard and ad hoc reports, develop understanding of our P&L structure and analyzing variances to forecast, budget and prior year
  • Extract data from MMC’s data warehouse to support key strategic initiatives
  • Assist in the preparation of financial presentations using a variety of formats, displays, reproduction of charts, graphs and econometric models
  • Research, identify, and explain expense and operational variances to highlight areas of risk and opportunities to improve
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What do you need to have?

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, Finance, Mathematics or Actuarial Sciences.
  • 2 - 5 years of experience in FP&A process and multicultural relationships with executive roles.
  • Advanced English
  • Advanced excel skills, oracle and Essbase knowledge preferred
  • Power BI (desirable)
