Job Description

This role involves pivotal financial planning and analysis for Marvell's Operations organization, driving strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. The Financial Analyst will partner with Operations leaders to align financial strategies with business goals, develop financial models, and provide insightful analysis to senior management. Responsibilities also include overseeing financial reporting, collaborating on business initiatives, and driving process improvements to enhance financial operations efficiency.
Must Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in Finance
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills

What You Can Expect

  • Play a pivotal role in the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function for the Operations organization within Marvell
  • Drive strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Partner with Operations leaders to align financial strategies with business goals and drive cross-functional collaboration
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning
  • Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to senior management to drive business performance
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and optimize financial performance
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1 years of relevant experience in Finance
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including active working knowledge of data sorting, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and other data mining experience utilizing advanced Excel functionality
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership and commitment to accuracy
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills; proactive and solution-oriented
  • Collaborative team player with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

73,690 - 110,400, $ per annum

The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
