Job Summary
As a Finance Associate at IMC, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide finance-related solutions. Responsibilities include assisting in accounts payable, inter-company transactions, group accounting, bank coordination for payments, audit query support, and GST & TDS settlement. You will also contribute to finance automation initiatives and be involved in Business Planning & Analysis (BP&A) and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) activities for India, including variance analysis and reporting.
Must Have
- Assist in accounts payable, inter-company transactions, and group accounting
- Coordinate with banks for disbursement for payments
- Support in responding to audit queries
- Settlement of GST & TDS
- Support monthly financial close process
- Assist in reconciliations, reporting, and internal controls
- Support in Period-End Closures
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 0–2 years of experience
- Exposure to finance, accounting, audits, or reporting functions
- Strong inclination towards technology, automation, and digital transformation within finance
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn
Good to Have
- Experience or interest in finance automation, analytics tools, or process improvement
Job Description
As a Finance Associate at IMC you will collaborate with internal stakeholders through out the organization to provide finance related solutions. Daily responsibilities include assistance in accounts payable, closing of inter-company transactions and group accounting, coordinate with banks for disbursement for payments, support in responding to audit queries (if any), settlement of GST & TDS. You’ll be expected to provide administrative support to the finance lead and the team at large.
Your Core Responsibilities
Support to the Finance Team in Daily Operations
You will assist the existing finance team with day-to-day activities and ongoing operational requirements. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Supporting the monthly financial close process
- Assisting in reconciliations, reporting, and internal controls
- Providing ad-hoc support during audits or internal reviews
- Support in Period-End Closures
Finance Automation Initiatives
A key part of the role is to contribute to ongoing and upcoming finance automation projects. This includes:
- Collaborating with global finance automation teams
- Identifying areas where manual processes can be automated
- Assisting in design, testing, and implementation of automation solutions
BP&A and FP&A Activities for India
You will also be involved in Business Planning & Analysis (BP&A) and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) activities, including:
- Preparing and reviewing variance analysis for actuals vs. budget/forecast
- Supporting the preparation of monthly management books and reporting packs
- Tracking financial performance and highlighting key movements or risks
- Coordinating with business teams to gather insights and explanations
- Helping improve analytics, dashboards, and reporting processes
Your Skills and Experience:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 0–2 years of experience.
- Exposure to finance, accounting, audits, or reporting functions.
- Experience or interest in finance automation, analytics tools, or process improvement is an added advantage.
- Strong inclination towards technology, automation, and digital transformation within finance.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
