Job Description

The Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis team at Apple is seeking an energetic, motivated, and curious analyst to support the Compensation Planning team. This role involves driving meaningful analytics for compensation planning, forecasting, and reporting. In partnership with Compensation and Compensation Services, the analyst will provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership on Apple’s compensation strategies. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining financial planning and forecasting tools for various compensation forms like base salary, bonus, and equity programs, ensuring accuracy down to the individual employee level.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of professional finance experience
  • BS or BA in Economics, Business or equivalent
  • Independent, self-starter with the ability to successfully handle multiple priorities and deal with ambiguity
  • Proven ability to get involved in details while maintaining a broader perspective
  • Robust analytical skills and business sense
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to communicate clearly with senior leaders
  • Excellent process management, planning and organizational skills
  • Quick thinking, action oriented, and commitment to excellence
  • Ms excel expert and Tableau skills
  • Development and maintenance of financial planning and forecasting tools for compensation

The Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis team is looking for an energetic, motivated, and curious analyst with strong analytical and interpersonal skills. Specifically, this role will be responsible for supporting our Compensation Planning team, helping to drive meaningful analytics as it pertains to our compensation planning, forecasting, and reporting processes. In partnership with the Compensation and Compensation Services teams, this role will provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership related to Apple’s compensation strategies.

This role is responsible for the development and maintenance of financial planning and forecasting tools for Apple’s various forms of compensation, including base salary, bonus, and equity programs. While instrumental in shaping global strategic decisions, this person is also responsible for ensuring absolute accuracy when these programs are implemented, down to the individual employee level.

  • 5+ years of professional finance experience
  • BS or BA in Economics, Business or equivalent
  • Independent, self-starter with the ability to successfully handle multiple priorities and deal with ambiguity in a sophisticated matrix structure
  • Proven ability to get involved in the details while maintaining a broader perspective
  • Robust analytical skills and business sense, with an ability to see the implications of actual and planned activities, adding value to management decisions
  • Strong influencing skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently when advising senior leaders
  • Excellent process management, planning and organizational skills
  • Quick thinking, action oriented, and with a commitment to excellence
  • Ms excel expert and Tableau skills

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $137,900 and $207,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You’ll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses — including tuition.
