Job Description

As a Fleet Modelling Analyst, you will be responsible for constructing simulations to predict demand for engine and platform overhaul and repairs, working with Defence Capability teams to develop new tools and approaches including platform availability modelling and Maintenance Optimisation. You will ensure that all forecast assumptions are documented in line with programme and business requirements. You will also be responsible for providing and maintaining a medium to long-term fleet forecast to support spare part ordering, setting of company budgets, and supporting the Business in the development and maintenance of the forecasts in support of win business campaigns, strategic decisions, and customer meetings.
Must have:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience in simulation and forecasting
  • Strong analytical and forecasting skills
  • Knowledge and experience of Machine Learning theories
  • Experience of repair and overhaul processes and/or customer interface / customer service

What you will be doing

  • Work with Maintenance Organisations and Engineering within Rolls-Royce Defence to construct simulations to predict demand for engine and platform overhaul and repairs.
  • Work with Defence Capability teams to develop new tools and approaches which includes platform availability modelling and Maintenance Optimisation.
  • Ensuring that all forecast assumptions are documented in line with programme and business requirements.
  • Provision and maintenance of a medium to long-term fleet forecast to support spare part ordering, setting of company budgets.
  • Support to the Business in the development and maintenance of the forecasts in support of win business campaigns, strategic decisions, and customer meetings.
