Frontend Game Developer (World of Warships: Legends)


Job Overview

Wargaming is looking for а Frontend Game Developer to work on World of Warships: Legends in Belgrade office. World of Warships: Legends is a cross-platform gaming project in release on consoles, PC and on mobile devices.

As a Frontend Game Developer, you will be a bridge between design and technology, combining both artistic and technological aspects of new features and delivering it as an awesome experience for players.

Reports to

Meta Team Lead

What will you do?

• Implement game interface elements based on mockups provided by UI designers and create custom design solutions
• Write code using the proprietary Unbound language
• Collaborate with the Backend team (Python)
• Adapt the interface for consoles, PC, and mobile devices
• Organize screen transition logic
• Bugfix based on QA engineers’ test results
• Develop new features and modules

What are we looking for?

• 2+ years of experience in Frontend development
• Knowledge of markup-based languages (like HTML) and experience with modern practices
• Programming skills
• Experience in Figma, Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
• Solid design skills
• Experience with version control systems
• Intermediate English (B1/B2) or higher
• Passion for gaming and interactive digital experiences

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Work experience in game development
• Experience with Python

Work mode

• During the probation period: onsite.
• After the probation period: onsite or hybrid (3 days per week in the office).
