Job Description

Join Gameloft Saigon as an Unreal Game Developer (Middle/Senior) for an exciting challenge. This role involves developing and maintaining game features using Unreal Engine, writing clean code for client/server functionalities, collaborating with designers and artists on UI/gameplay, developing automation tools, optimizing performance across various devices, and fixing bugs. Daily communication in English with local and cross-studio teams is essential.

Must have:

Use Unreal Engine tools to develop and maintain game features.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for client and/or server-side functionalities.
Collaborate with game designers and artists for game UI and gameplay.
Develop and maintain technical tools and Unreal Engine automation solutions.
Optimize user experience and performance across various devices.
Fix bugs reported by the testing team.
Update, maintain, and enhance Unreal Engine for game development.
Communicate daily in English with local and cross-studio teams.

Job Details

As a member with programming expertise in a game team, your work consists of:

Use Unreal Engine tools to develop and maintain game features.
Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code, with a focus on client and/or server-side functionalities of the game.
Collaborating with game designers and artists to develop and implement game UI, gameplay to enhance player retention and satisfaction.
Develop and maintain the technical tools and Unreal Engine automation solutions to streamline the game development and content creation workflow.
Optimizing the user experience and performance to ensure smooth experience on many devices (PlayStation, xBox, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS devices, Android phones).
Fixing the bugs reported by the testing team to ensure the game quality before releasing to end users.
Update, maintain, and enhance the UE as required for game’s development.
Daily communicating in English with local team members and/or in team members from other Gameloft studios in Montreal, Brisbane, Barcelona… in cross studios project for global markets.
