This Fulfillment Solutions Engineer role within the M&A Integration team focuses on critical financial and operational analysis for integrating newly acquired company customers. Responsibilities include understanding acquired fulfillment operations, translating them into scalable solutions on Stord's platform, and developing pricing strategies for customer retention and expansion. The position provides core analysis for the M&A team's integration strategy and financial success.
Must have:

  • Create overarching pricing strategy for acquired customers.
  • Design tailored fulfillment component of system migration solution.
  • Support successful execution of system migrations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in solutions engineering, industrial engineering, pricing, or supply chain function.
Good to have:
  • Experience with 3PLs, fulfillment operations, and parcel shipping solutions.
  • Experience in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Understanding of Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies and cross-functional collaboration.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a high-powered Fulfillment Solutions Engineer to join our M&A Integration team. This role is focused on the critical financial and operational analysis required to successfully integrate a newly acquired company's customers. You will be responsible for understanding an acquired company's fulfillment operations, translating them into a scalable solution on Stord's platform, and developing the pricing strategies that are essential for retaining and expanding this new customer base. Your work provides the core analysis that powers the M&A team's integration strategy and ensures its financial success.

This role reports to the Solutions Consultant, M&A Integration.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform Fulfillment Diligence: You will perform deep-dive diligence on an acquired company's fulfillment operations, engaging directly with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements, processes, and technology.
  • Analyze Cost Structures: You will analyze the cost basis and structure of an acquired company's customer solutions and pricing. This includes understanding all components of their fulfillment operations—how they are run, structured, and automated—to create accurate financial models that support the standardization of these solutions as they are integrated into Stord's ecosystem.
  • Drive Pricing Standardization: You will use your cost models and analysis to create the overarching pricing strategy for acquired customers. This strategy will serve as a standardized framework designed to accelerate renewal and integration velocity.
  • Design & Propose Integrated Solutions: Based on your diligence and cost analysis, you will design the tailored fulfillment component of the system migration solution. You will then incorporate the software and parcel components from the other solutions engineers to create the final, integrated internal and external pro formas.
  • Support Solution Implementation: You will support the successful execution of system migrations by working closely with the M&A Implementations team, providing all necessary documentation and context for the solution you designed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in solutions engineering, industrial engineering, pricing, or a related supply chain function.
  • Strong knowledge of fulfillment operations, warehousing, automation, and material flow optimization.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to executive stakeholders and external customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Highly skilled in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, or similar platforms.

Bonus Points for:

  • Experience with 3PLs, fulfillment operations, and parcel shipping solutions.
  • Experience in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • An understanding of Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies and cross-functional collaboration in a sales or commercial setting.
