We’re seeking a Software Engineer to join our team and work on a dynamic suite of products that manage client travel data. We are looking for someone who can adapt to recent technologies, thrive in a dynamic environment, and deliver positive outcomes for the company and our clients. What You’ll Do:
- Work in a SCRUM team
- Design, develop and test new applications and features
- Optimize API’s for maximum performance, reliability, and scalability
- Analyze and resolve technical and application problems
- Collaborate and work alongside fellow engineers, designers, and other partners to develop and maintain applications
- Participate in the evolution and maintenance of existing systems
- Propose new functional and/or technical product improvements
- Experiment with new and emerging technologies
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a STEM-related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software development
- Proven track record in migrating AS400 systems to Java-based applications
- Proficiency in Java development, PostgreSQL, React JS, and AWS Cloud services
- Experience with ROSA (Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS) and Travel MidOffice platforms
- Strong understanding of full-stack development principles and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) is a plus
- Knowledge of the travel industry
