Must have:
  • Design, develop, and maintain the full stack of the Yahoo Knowledge data platform.
  • Implement and optimize data ingestion and processing pipelines.
  • Build and maintain the serving layer for efficient knowledge data retrieval.
  • Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to integrate knowledge graphs.
  • Develop and maintain the data visualization layer.
  • Produce clear technical reports and documentation.
  • 3+ years of proven track record as a fullstack developer.
  • BS in Computer Science, or equivalent degree/experience.
  • Expertise in fullstack development (backend and frontend systems).
  • Familiarity with Big Data, Cloud environments, (Graph) Databases.
  • Experience with data processing frameworks and workflow management tools.

A Lot About You

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain the full stack of the Yahoo Knowledge data platform, encompassing data acquisition, processing, serving, and client integration.
  • Implement and optimize data ingestion and processing pipelines from diverse sources, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
  • Build and maintain the serving layer to enable efficient retrieval of knowledge data for various Yahoo products.
  • Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to integrate knowledge graphs into advanced AI offerings and enhance query understanding systems.
  • Develop and maintain the data visualization layer.
  • Produce clear technical reports and documentation, and stay current with advancements in relevant technologies.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of proven track record driving impact in the industry as a fullstack developer.
  • BS in Computer Science, or equivalent degree/experience
  • Expertise in fullstack development with a strong understanding of both backend and frontend systems.
  • Familiarity with Big Data, Cloud environments, (Graph) Databases
  • Experience with data processing frameworks and workflow management tools.
  • Experience with search technologies and query understanding is a strong advantage.

The compensation for this position ranges from $111,000.00 - $231,250.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
