Job Summary
Job Description
As a Game Designer at Ging Games, you will be responsible for finding new and entertaining game concepts, transforming game ideas into design documents, and presenting them to the team. You'll create concept scenes at the beginning of the production process, identify design requirements in parallel with the production process, and maintain communication with the Development and Game Art teams throughout the production process. Additionally, you'll be involved in the design of in-game tools and editors and create level designs using the produced editors. Active participation in QA processes to identify bugs, changes, and suggestions to share with the team is also part of the role. Ging Games is a mobile game studio based in Ankara, Turkey, established in 2019.
Must have:

- Be motivated to learn and constantly improve yourself.
- Create detailed and understandable documents.
- Be proficient in the Unity 3D game engine and its basic components.
- Be open to teamwork and a collaborative discussion environment.
- Take initiative and consider the ideas of team members.
- Have enough English to access information.
Good to have:
- Have worked in a professional game studio.
- Be competent in Game Development or Game Art Pipeline.
- Be familiar with the existing literature on player experience creation processes.

Ging Games, 2019 yılında kurulan Ankara merkezli bir mobil oyun stüdyosudur. Kuruluşumuzdan bu yana mobil oyun sektörünün önde gelen yayıncıları aracılığıyla Hyper Casual oyunlarımızı yayınladık ve 60'tan fazla prototip geliştirdik.
Game Designer pozisyonu görev ve sorumlulukları:
- Sektörü takip ederek yeni ve eğlenceli oyun konseptleri bulmak.
- Oyun fikirlerini tasarım dokümanına dönüştürerek ekibe sunmak.
- Üretim süreci başında konsept sahneler oluşturmak, üretim sürecine paralel bir şekilde tasarım gereksinimlerini tespit etmek.
- Üretim süreci boyunca Development ve Game Art ekipleriyle iletişim halinde kalarak bir diyalog yaratmak. Oyunun orijinal vizyonunu süreç boyunca korumak.
- Oyun içi tool ve editörlerin tasarım sürecinde yer alarak fikrin gereksinimlerine uygun hale getirmek.
- Üretilen editörleri kullanarak level tasarımı yapmak.
- QA süreçlerinde aktif rol alarak bug, değişiklik ve önerileri tespit ederek ekiple paylaşmak.
İdeal adayda aranan özellikler:
- Platformdan bağımsız oyun oynamaktan ve oynadığı oyunları analiz etmekten keyif almak.
- Oyun geliştirme sürecine dair iç motivasyonlarının farkında olmak ve bunları iş disiplinine aktarabilmek.
- Öğrenmekten keyif almak, sürekli kendini geliştirme motivasyonuna sahip olmak
- Detaylı ve anlaşılır dokümanlar oluşturabilmek.
- Unity 3D oyun motoru ve temel komponentlerine hakim olmak. Sistematik ve detay odaklı çalışabilmek.
- Ekip çalışması ve uzlaşmacı tartışma ortamlarına açık olmak. Farklı disiplinlerdeki takım arkadaşlarıyla verimli ve pozitif iletişim kurabilmek.
- İnisiyatif alabilmek, ekip arkadaşlarının fikirlerini dikkate alarak optimal yol haritasını oluşturabilmek.
- Bilgiye ulaşma yolunda engel oluşturmayacak seviyede İngilizce bilgisine sahip olmak.
Zorunlu olmayan ancak dikkate alınacak etkenler:
- Geçmişte profesyonel kapasitede bir oyun stüdyosunda çalışmış olmak.
- Game Development veya Game Art Pipeline’ında yetkin olmak.
- Oyuncu tecrübesi yaratma süreçlerine ilişkin mevcut literatüre aşina olmak.
