Gameplay Animator - EA Sports FC

The FC Gameplay group is looking for skilled animators to join team. Animators are responsible for portraying movement and behavior. Animators must be able to create emotionally believable characters that allow game players to interact with the game, whether photorealistic or stylized, in a realistic and believable fashion.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and develop animation features, in collaboration with the producers and software engineers
• Contribute to designing animation components that can be shared across features and even across games.

Your Qualifications

• Experienced CG character animator required
• Minimum 1 year work experience
• Must possess excellent character animation skills
• Must have strong working knowledge of a 3D animation package (Maya, XSI etc.)
• Familiarity with Autodesk’s Motionbuilder preferred but not essential
• Candidate must have a strong work ethic and work well with a team
• Candidate must be meticulous, detail oriented, driven, and need very little supervision to put out high quality work
• Must have ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Experience working in gaming preferred but not essential
• Strong understanding of body mechanics

BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES

• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
º $77,600 - $119,000 CAN Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, and after 3 months of service - extended health/dental/vision coverage and basic life insurance.
