As a system software engineer, you will analyze and debug issues in Apple’s GPU driver, optimize GPU power/performance, and design and build tools to streamline the triage and debugging process. You will leverage your expertise in low-level system architecture to facilitate GPU functionality on novel products and SoCs, addressing critical GPU challenges across Apple’s portfolio. Responsibilities include optimizing GPU power management to enhance system power and performance for various applications, including gaming, professional workflows, and machine learning. You will design and implement features for automated triage and debugging platforms, boosting developer productivity. Collaboration with a skilled team to integrate kernel and firmware into the graphics platform to maximize graphic and compute capabilities on iOS and macOS.
