The Global Collections Operations Team is responsible for the flawless execution of all daily production items, managing purchase orders/invoices and conducting quality assurance reviews for Marketplaces Global Collections Unit! About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated to join our Global Operations team! This role is critical to ensuring flawless execution of daily production processes, vendor management, and operational controls. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and balance execution excellence with a forward-thinking mindset for process improvements.
What You Will Accomplish:
- Ensure operational excellence by reconciling, processing, and distributing all global vendor files with high accuracy and within defined service levels.
- Troubleshoot and resolve sophisticated file issues—including parsing errors, mismatches, and formatting problems—mitigating risks that could impact payments or data integrity.
- Lead end-to-end payment remittance operations, overseeing customer payments through to vendor distribution, account postings, and internal bank wires, while promptly identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Further vendor and partner relationships through effective onboarding, maintenance of process documentation, and regular reporting—building clarity, trust, and strong collaboration with internal business partners.
- Strengthen team and company compliance by maintaining and updating procedure manuals, conducting regular quality assurance reviews and quarterly internal audits, and driving remediation projects to address control gaps.
- Contribute to team resilience and development by supporting adjacent operational processes, providing back-up coverage, collaborating with remote/global groups, and participating in training content creation and knowledge sharing.
What You Will Bring:
- Dedicated to working our Hybrid model with 3 days per week onsite.
- 3+ years of experience in a production-based operations environment (e.g., reconciliations, file processing, vendor payments, or invoice management) with strict accuracy and deadlines.
- Hands-on experience in process-oriented operations, including troubleshooting file movement or automation errors.
- Ability to follow established procedures while also applying problem-solving and critical thinking to identify opportunities for process improvements in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong experience in process documentation, workflow design, and developing training manuals to support operational consistency.
- Flexibility to adjust work schedule as needed; periodic on-call/off-hours support may be required.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills, with proven track record to perform under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across email, Slack, Zoom, with sensitivity to global and cultural differences.
- Familiarity with file processing basics (parsing, error handling, file uniformity) to support troubleshooting.
- Strong presentation skills, with experience delivering projects, data, findings, and recommendations to groups.
