This role joins the Global Technology Finance organization, focusing on close-related activities, forecasting, and reporting. The Senior Financial Analyst will leverage extensive knowledge of US GAAP, accrual-based accounting, budgeting, and forecasting to analyze, consolidate, and communicate financial data, contributing to a fast-paced, intellectual, and collaborative team environment.

Must Have

  • Monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and ad-hoc reporting support.
  • Responsible for the execution of the monthly financial close, journal entries, accurate financial reporting of expenses, and hiring plans
  • Drive analysis of cost trends and articulate related cause and effect to managers
  • Work closely with Controllership team to coordinate compliance with US GAAP, ensure that the relevant financial control processes are used and appropriate audit trail maintained at all times
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with various parts of the business to understand their needs and/or requests, and challenge methodologies to ensure balance between shareholders, customer and business partner expectations
  • Continuously identify opportunities to automate and streamline processes to increase efficiency and accuracy in the operational planning processes
  • Provide insightful and actionable monthly reports comparing actual trends against budget and forecast assumptions
  • Build presentation content for Monthly Business Review of key metrics and expense drivers

Good to Have

  • Experience with financial systems like Anaplan, SAP, BW

About the team:

This is an opportunity to join the Global Technology Finance organization acting as a subject matter authority on close related activities, forecast and reporting. Ideal candidates will demonstrate their extensive knowledge of US GAAP, accrual based accounting, budgeting and forecasting, and process knowledge to be able to analyze, consolidate and communicate financial data from multiple systems to supply substantial results to a winning organization. The successful candidate will find him/herself surrounded by sharp professionals operating in a fast-paced, intellectual, and team collaboration environment.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and ad-hoc reporting support.

Experience and qualifications required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
  • Passionate about business and the related performance
  • 3+ years of finance experience with exposure to different areas (business analysis, accounting, FP&A, etc.)
  • Experience with financial systems such as Anaplan, SAP[, BW, etc. is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proven track record to partner effectively with all functions and levels within the organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage timelines
  • Ability to perform in a matrix organization with multiple partners with a high degree of complexity and ambiguity
  • The ideal candidate will have outstanding technical skills with spreadsheets, presentations, along with proven financial analysis capabilities
