Job Description

This is an internship position for a Global Mobility Administrator Intern. The role involves collaborating with Global HR and Regional Talent Managers to facilitate international assignments, manage documentation, and ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities include preparing cost projections, maintaining records, communicating with stakeholders, and managing financial transactions. The intern will also address stakeholder inquiries, review and update processes, identify improvements, and coordinate immigration-related tasks. The internship will run from September 2nd to December 19th, 2025.

The role we are offering you:

By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to work in close collaboration with Global HR and Regional Talent Managers, facilitating various aspects of international assignments and ensuring smooth operations. This role involves preparing cost projections, maintaining essential records,

communicating with stakeholders, coordinating services, and managing financial transactions.

Are you ready to:

  • Collaborate with Global Mobility Specialist team for mobility initiations, documentation review, and financial budgeting arrangements:

  • Serve as point of contact for day-to-day questions from different stakeholders related to Global Mobility matters or address the questions to the proper contact to respond.

  • Periodically review and update international mobility processes, reports, and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance.

  • Identify and implement improvement opportunities in Global Mobility processes, tools, templates, reports, and systems.

  • Review, complete and coordinate legalization, or signature of Corporate/HR Support immigration letters within CAE’s foreign entities regarding all types of immigration applications such as Business Visitor visas, Work permit exemptions, Labor Notifications and Work Permits.

  • Maintain work permit data updated in Workday for transferees and expatriates.

  • Generate Workday Global Mobility reports, as needed, e.g., Pull employment reports.

  • Undertake additional project work as assigned by the GM Manager. This may include implementing regional or practice group international secondment programs.

Our ideal candidate has:

•     Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

•     Strong organizational and communication skills.

•     Proficiency in using software and tools relevant to the role.

•     Attention to detail and accuracy.

•     Knowledge of international mobility processes and regulations is a plus.

Location of the internship is Montreal

Internship will be carried out in hybrid

*All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP). All hires will be required to complete, sign and return the Controlled Goods Program form within a week of its transmittal. They must also provide a copy of their passport or birth certificate. All students with a work permit must provide a copy of it and a police clearance certificate from the country or countries where they have resided in the past five years.

*Please take note that if you are on a student, work or international student permit, the delays for the security background check take minimum 16 weeks.

*For all interns hired, we will reimburse the internship costs for up to $250 per intern upon presentation of supporting documents.
