Job Description

The Production Control & Logistics (PC&L) Analyst/Senior Analyst is a key role focusing on the optimization of end-to-end supply chain analytic capabilities for proactive action planning and decision making. We are seeking a highly skilled candidate adept at turning raw data into critical knowledge to join our team and guide our stakeholders with reports, visualizations, dashboards, and predictive analytics. This is an exciting role which requires a high level of understanding around data structures and visualization, and someone who can interface with cross-functional data stewards. This is a global position reporting to the Global PC&L Systems, Analytics & E2E Master Data Manager, who in turn reports to the Global PC&L Business Process & Logistics Director for the AS&UX business.
Must have:
  • Ability to leverage data, data sources, and visualization of data to drive incremental efficiencies in PC&L activities
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate large amounts of information
  • Develops and produces reporting tools, dashboards, and scorecards to analyze PC&L activity
  • Proficient in Dashboarding and Analytical Tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, Alteryx)
  • Understanding of relational and non-relational database structure, processes, and translation skills
  • Strong data presentation development skills, able to compile and summarize data from different systems
  • Work with business functions to refine and visualize PC&L data (KPIs) operational performance
  • Leverage data to proactively manage supply chain risks and impacts
  • Identify opportunities to leverage digital / automated tools to increase efficiencies
  • Analyze data to enhance performance by determining and reducing inefficiencies
  • Ability to generate ad-hoc reports / KPIs based on the needs of ASUX / PC&L business activities
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal business partners
Good to have:
  • Automotive, High Tech (Semiconductor, Electronics) experience preferred
  • Experience and proficiency with SAP is a plus

This is a global position reporting to the Global PC&L Systems, Analytics & E2E Master Data Manager, who in turn reports to the Global PC&L Business Process & Logistics Director for the AS&UX business.

Your role

  • Ability to leverage data, data sources, and visualization of data to drive incremental efficiencies in the area of PC&L activities – Customer Demand, Supplier Demand, Production Plan, Inventory, Financial data, Logistics, Plant Operations, E2E Master Data, Business Process, Performance KPIs, etc.;
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate large amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Develops and produces reporting tools, dashboards, and scorecards to analyze PC&L activity by comparing actual, planned, and historical data;
  • Proficient in Dashboarding and Analytical Tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, Alteryx, etc.);
  • Understanding of relational and non-relational database structure, processes, and translation skills, thus being able to create both front-end processes and back-end processes for “home-grown” programs/systems/tools from start to finish;
  • Strong data presentation development skills, being able to compile and summarize data from different systems and summarize into a presentable format
  • Work with business functions to refine and visualize PC&L data (KPIs) operational performance;
  • Leverage data to proactively manage supply chain risks and impacts;
  • Identify opportunities to leverage digital / automated tools to increase efficiencies;
  • Analyze data to enhance performance by determining and reducing inefficiencies;
  • Ability to generate ad-hoc reports / KPIs based on the needs of ASUX / PC&L business activities;
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal business partners

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree with minimum 5 years of experience;
  • Automotive, High Tech (Semiconductor, Electronics) experience preferred;
  • Experience and proficiency with SAP is a plus;
  • Strong analytical skills, including Excel, Tableau;
  • A high level of technical expertise and broad knowledge of Cloud Security, DevOps, Information technology (IT) automation, full stack development – front-end/back-end, programming and scripting languages, database structures, testing procedures and Operating systems;
  • Strong data presentation development skills; e.g. Tableau/Power BI Dashboards, PowerPoint, etc.;
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
