PHINIA is seeking an analytical, dynamic, and results-driven Global Product Analyst to join their expanding Global Steering & Suspension team in Izmir, Turkey. This role involves undertaking analytical work around vehicle OE number and application research for the Steering & Suspension product line. The analyst will also support delivering new part introduction requirements for each region and ensuring that processes are followed efficiently to meet the global product line strategy, contributing to PHINIA's mission of advancing sustainability and powering a cleaner tomorrow.

Must Have

  • Undertake research and analysis on new vehicle OE numbers and application linkages for Steering & Suspension in Europe.
  • Deliver New Part introduction requirements for EMEA, NA, SA, AP regions in line with global product strategy.
  • Ensure processes meet required quality and cost targets.
  • Support the development and implementation of a long-term global product strategy.
  • Minimum 3 years working in an automotive environment.
  • Experience of using Tecdoc or Tecdoc derivate systems (Teccat/Webcat).
  • Demonstrable Project & Change Management Skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in Cataloguing systems and Vehicle data.
  • Solid communication skills and ability to take action and escalate.
  • English language proficiency.

Good to Have

  • Degree which involved conducting research with complex data sets.
  • Additional languages.

JOB PURPOSE

PHINIA is currently looking for an “analytical, dynamic, results driven” individual to join our expanding Global Steering & Suspension team. This person will be responsible for undertaking analytical work around vehicle OE number and application research for the Steering & Suspension product line. Furthermore, as the candidate becomes familiar with this work, they will also support delivering new part introduction requirements for each region and ensuring that processes are followed efficiently to meet the global product line strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • As part of a team to undertake a key strategic project for the European region on Steering & Suspension which involves conducting research and analysis on new vehicle OE numbers and application linkages
  • Deliver New Part introduction requirements for the 4 regions (EMEA/NA/SA/AP) in line with the global product strategy, at the required quality (defined for Engineering) and cost (defined for Purchasing by the regions) to allow the sales team to sell competitively into our various markets whilst protecting the profitability of PHINIA and liaising with our plants and suppliers as appropriate.
  • Support the development and implementation of a long-term global product strategy in line with market requirements that creates cross regional synergies

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum of 3 years working in an automotive environment is preferred.
  • Ideally with a Degree which involved conducting research with complex data sets.
  • Understanding or car parts and some mechanical knowledge
  • Experience of using Tecdoc or Tecdoc derivate systems (Teccat/ Webcat) etc.
  • Must be self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently with keen attention to detail and results orientated
  • Collaboration – Ability to work independently and across multi-functional and Global teams to work in a matrix organization.
  • Project & Change Management Skills – Demonstrable ability to develop & facilitate Global projects, within given parameters.
  • Ability to multi-task and remain detail-oriented with sound time management and organization skills.
  • Solid communication skills and able to take action and escalate when necessary.
  • Build trust with key stakeholders and understand the customer perspective.
  • Strong Microsoft office skills including outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Cataloguing systems and Vehicle data
  • Language - English. Additional languages would be advantageous.
