Must Have

• Fluent in English (85% minimal)
• Excellent communication skills
• Good troubleshooting skills to solve complex problems
• Experience with laser welding machines, Sservo presses and process control monitoring devices
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with automated processes
• High level of knowledge/expertise for machine mechanical design
• Flexibility to travel globally for 1–2-week assignments
• Strong ability to work with others and provide training
• Expert on process documentation such as PFD, PFMEA, PCP, Standard work
• Maintain documentation in real time
• Fast response to customer issues
• Error Proof processes – Prevention approach
• Process data / dashboards analysis for quick response solving problems
• High qualified in pneumatic, electric control and mechanical design (GD&T)
• Keep production lines with OE and quality metrics on target
• Follow Change Request process / Process deviation per PHINIA procedures
• Design processes and create machine specifications for high quality and low cost manufacturing
• Perform testing and qualification for new machines to ensure capability
• Propose cost reduction and quality improvements to processes
• Provide quotations for new business opportunities
• Familiar with manual and automatic assembly systems

Good to Have

• Shainin or Six Sigma certification
• Experience with IPG brand laser welding machines

JOB PURPOSE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Fluent in English (85% minimal)

2. Excellent communication skills

3. Good troubleshooting skills to solve complex problems – preferable Shainin or Six Sigma certification

4. Experience with laser welding machines (IPG brand preferable), Sservo presses and process control monitoring devices such as load cells, travel, vision systems

5. Experience in a manufacturing environment with automated processes (clean room environment, high precision equipment)

6. High level of knowledge/expertise for machine mechanical design

7. Flexibility to travel globally for 1–2-week assignments for: training, workshops and validations

8. Strong ability to work with others and provide training

9. Expert on process documentation such as: PFD, PFMEA, PCP, Standard work

10. Maintain documentation in real time

11. Fast response to customer issues

12. Error Proof processes – Prevention approach

13. Process data / dashboards analysis for quick response solving problems

14. High qualified in pneumatic, electric control and mechanical design (GD&T)

15. Keep production lines with OE and quality metrics on target

19. Propose cost reduction and quality improvements to processes (current and launches)

21. Familiar with manual and automatic assembly systems
