Intern - MFG DIFFUSION

This internship focuses on applying Single-Minute Exchange of Die (SMED) techniques to optimize equipment operations within the Manufacturing – Diffusion department at Micron's Fab 10 in Singapore. The intern will work on reducing changeover times, improving operational efficiency, minimizing downtime, and enhancing responsiveness to production changes, ultimately contributing to standardized and smoother startup processes. This role offers learning opportunities in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) techniques.

Project Description: SMED stands for Single-Minute Exchange of Die, a lean manufacturing technique aimed at reducing equipment changeover time to less than 10 minutes. You are to apply SMED in operations optimization to achieve improved operational efficiency through reduced downtime and maintenance duration, Improved responsiveness to production changes, standardized and smoother startup
