Job Summary
The Industrial Methods Technician at Thales Brest supports subcontracting activities related to new article procurement and repair of sub-assemblies. Your daily life
The Brest site hosts our digital services activities as well as Thales' expertise in development, integration, and maintenance for maritime patrol and surveillance systems, electronic warfare, sonar systems, and airborne anti-submarine warfare, as well as our digital services activities.
Reporting to the Industrial Methods department of the Process Engineering of the Customer Support Service at the Brest site, which is responsible for the repair and support of our equipment, you will support activities related to subcontracting for:
- The procurement of new items constituting a customer need or repair lines.
- The repair of sub-assemblies from lines and/or "customers"
Your missions:
- Take into account new needs for re-launches and/or spare parts quotes declined by the Supply Chain.
- Perform complete analyses of files concerning these needs, including verification of the completeness of definition and manufacturing files, research of tools, identification and evaluation of obsolescence and risks.
- Draft statements of work and communicate all requirements to suppliers.
- Provide industrial technical support to suppliers, in close collaboration with the Supply Chain.
- Develop, write, and maintain operating procedures and manufacturing ranges.
- Provide permanent industrial support to internal resources (buyers, technological controllers, test technicians, quotation technicians, etc.).

Your profile
You have a Bac+2 degree in a technical field (Electronics, Mechanics) or in industrial production management and have experience in:
- Manufacturing processes
- Industrial methods
- Supplier management
