Intern - Manufacturing – Production, Scheduling Innovation and Automation

This internship involves automating the Virtual Lot Testing process for New Product Introduction within the F10 Manufacturing department. The intern will learn UiPath RPA and SQL for database access to develop an RPA solution. The role requires verifying system setups using virtual materials, which is currently labor-intensive. The primary deliverable is to create an RPA system to automate this testing, contributing to innovation and efficiency in production scheduling. An engineering background with programming experience is preferred for this 6-month project.

Project Title: Virtual Lot Testing automation through UiPath RPA

Description:

New Product Introduction involves testing of system before allowing it to handle a real production material. One of the test conducted is through using Virtual Material to verify system setups is done properly. Due to the nature of the testing, it is labor intensive, and we are looking into methods to automate the process. Your role will be to learn how the test process is done and enable an RPA solution to enable the automation of the process.

Scope:

In this project, the student will be given the opportunity to learn about:

−UIPath RPA

• SQL for database access

Deliverable:

To create an RPA system that enables automation of Virtual Lot(VL) Testing

Skillset Require: SQL, any background in programming language

Duration: Up to 6 months

Requirement:

Engineering discipline with experience in programming is preferred.
