Job Summary

Alternating machining on a numerical control machine

The main tasks are as follows:

Production:

  • Ensure N1 maintenance.
  • Understand and achieve production objectives.
  • Perform adjustments during series changes.
  • Call up CNC program instruction sheets and position products on milling or boring fixtures.
  • Start machining, change tools and inserts if necessary.
  • Submit work requests if necessary.

Safety:

  • Verify PPE and activity-specific equipment in accordance with workstation risk sheets.
  • Identify malfunctions on equipment safety devices and stop activity if a risk is observed.
  • Comply with Workstation Risk Sheets and safety regulations.
  • Participate in energy quarter-hour and safety quarter-hour meetings.
  • Be involved in initiatives to reduce energy consumption (e.g., switching off unused equipment).
  • Participate in mandatory training.

Quality:

  • Control manufactured products and make necessary corrections if needed.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of all machined products.
  • Stop activity in case of non-conformity and write a report in the computer system.

  • Contribute to the fight against climate change by behaving responsibly regarding our energy consumption.
