Role: Group Account Director
About the role:
Working in partnership with one of OLIVER’s largest account - H&M (A global retail company), the Group Account Director oversees the account strategically working closely with the regional clients and cross functional teams under their regional portfolio.

Reporting into the Global Business Director, responsibilities of the GAD include (but not limited to):
What you’ll be doing:
- The GAD is the senior point of contact for regions under their remit and point of client escalation. A leader who can build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders and their internal teams, resolve challenges swiftly and constructively in order to balance the expectations of clients with the execution of creative work. As a result, maintaining high levels of client confidence and retention.
- Will oversee the in-market account management teams. The GAD will directly support the Regional Account Lead in their respective regions, to accurately forecast, implement and deliver effectively and efficiently, alongside identifying growth opportunities tailored to each individual region needs.
- Provide team leadership as the GAD will also be responsible for the performance of all cross functional teams under their region, such as digital, motion and creative artwork. You are trusted to motivate your team to excel in their roles.
- Across the regions, you champion the OLIVER strategic vision and drive growth, by demonstrating an ability to add value to the development of our clients’ business by generating fresh thinking and relevant new ideas, ensuring the agency is always at the forefront of all new initiatives undertaken by our clients, working with other senior members of the team to ensure exposure to the right expertise.
- Robust reporting and analytics – The GAD will oversee and support in constructing all yearly reviews, data lead monthly reporting, campaign washups and strategic QBRs. Ensures that the data is translated into well-constructed insights to drive effective client recommendations and growth opportunities for the agency through upsell/cross selling business solutions.
- Identify opportunities for growth, from tailored solutions in region to overarching opportunities on a global level while maintaining a keen eye for potential risks and cultivating a solution-oriented mindset to address challenges proactively.
- Monitor KPIs and satisfaction metrics to proactively manage and deliver against account performance targets and drive continuous improvement, whilst effectively communicating status and solutions to the key global stakeholders.
- Accountable for all commercials and financial health of their regions, including P&L, monthly invoicing and out-of-scope (OOS) quotations.
- Responsible for all People-related and Operational matters in regions, liaising with regional and Global teams across Finance, IT, HR and Operations, bringing the right people together towards a common goal.
- Leveraging AI to champion automation and innovation ways of working.
What you need to be great in this role:
- 7+ years of relevant experience in digital and print, covering owned and bought media.
- Experience working with multiple campaigns, languages, and channels.
- Demonstrated team leadership experience, with the ability to line manage up to 4 reports across different countries and time zones.
- A strong passion for championing and producing engaging creative across bought media, high-quality graphics, visual merchandising, and digital content across platforms.
- Strong account & project management skills, with experience managing onsite and offshore teams.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities - You’ll be the kind of person who is great with clients and thinks on their feet. You relish adding value throughout the end-to-end creative process, adding your unique touch at every turn.
- Proven ability to drive successful campaign initiation, execution, and closure.
- Proficiency in financial management and forecasting.
- Keen eye for detail and commitment to innovation and new business growth.
- Schedule and manage team priorities and deadlines.

- Exceptional ability to build trust, influence at the executive level, and manage senior stakeholders globally.
- Passion for and inquisitive about AI and new technologies
- Understanding and knowledge of AI tools is beneficial, but ability to learn and digest benefits and features of AI tools is critical
