About the Role At Paytm Travel, we are building one’s most trusted and innovative travel platforms. As in Travel Growth, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our Travel category, driving innovation, scale, and customer delight. This is an opportunity to work in a high-impact leadership role with end-to-end business ownership.

We are looking for a self-driven and strategic business leader to spearhead the Travel Growth function at Paytm Travel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving end-to-end growth across the travel category, with ownership of P&L, analytics, category management, and strategic growth initiatives. The role requires a balance of analytical rigor, strong execution capabilities, and customer-centric thinking to unlock sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Business Ownership

  • Own and deliver on the top-line and bottom-line targets for the Travel business as per the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
  • Ensure ROI-driven deployment of marketing spends while maintaining sustainable unit economics.
  • Continuously optimize the revenue funnel and enhance profitability through data-backed decision-making.

Growth Strategy & Execution

  • Define and implement the growth roadmap for Travel, balancing short-term performance with long-term category expansion.
  • Develop and execute GTM strategies, sales activations, and category campaigns that drive user acquisition and retention.
  • Identify new growth opportunities and pilot initiatives; scale successful ones across the business.

Analytics & Insights

  • Drive the analytics charter to deeply understand user behavior, funnels, and category performance.
  • Generate actionable insights to optimize conversion, reduce leakages, and improve lifetime value (LTV).
  • Build frameworks to monitor, measure, and predict business performance with agility.

Customer Focus

  • Champion customer-centricity by identifying pain points across the booking journey and driving initiatives to enhance experience.
  • Work closely with product, marketing, and operations teams to integrate customer insights into strategy and execution.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team across growth, category, and analytics.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, supply, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of growth initiatives.
  • Build a culture of ownership, speed, and excellence.

Skills that will help you succeed in this role

  • 10–14 years of experience in consumer internet, travel, or e-commerce industries, with proven success in P&L management and growth leadership.
  • MBA from a Tier-1 business school preferred.
  • Strong track record of scaling businesses and delivering ambitious targets.
  • Highly analytical, data-driven, and comfortable with solving complex business problems.
  • Experience in managing large cross-functional teams with high accountability.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to lead complex negotiations.
  • Prior experience in travel industry will be a strong plus.
