World Relief is a global Christian humanitarian organization seeking a versatile Growth Marketing Content & Digital Coordinator. This role supports non-specialized marketing requests, primarily for the Church Product, but also flexibly across other channels like Events and Disaster Response. The coordinator will assist with content creation, digital coordination, and internal team handoffs, ensuring brand consistency and donor-journey-aligned messaging. The ideal candidate is passionate about justice and serving vulnerable communities.
Must have:
  • Work with Project Manager on marketing requests using Asana project management software.
  • Serve as first-line content and digital creator for Church Product marketing needs.
  • Support production of non-specialized digital content, including email copy drafts, basic Canva assets, basic HubSpot updates.
  • Collaborate with Content, Design, and Digital sub-teams for timely delivery.
  • Partner with team leads to prioritize requests based on alignment with goals, resources, and urgency.
  • Provide supplemental marketing support during major campaigns, emergency response, conferences, and seasonal donor engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure brand consistency, ethical storytelling, and donor-journey-aligned messaging in all outputs.
  • Maintain up-to-date familiarity with World Relief’s brand voice, The Path messaging, and donor personas.
  • Mature and personal Christian faith.
  • Committed to the mission, vision, and values of World Relief.
  • Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities.
  • Able to affirm and/or acknowledge World Relief's Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity.

  • Basic marketing knowledge, especially in email, digital, and content execution.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize according to strategic impact.
  • Proficiency with project management tools like Asana and digital collaboration platforms like Google Drive, SharePoint, Canva, and MS Office.
  • Understanding of storytelling best practices and ethical representation in humanitarian communications.
Good to have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Nonprofit Management or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a communications or marketing support role
  • Experience in a cross-functional, deadline-driven environment
  • Experience working with churches in a B2B relationship

ORGANIZATION SUMMARY

World Relief is a global Christian humanitarian organization whose mission is to boldly engage the world’s greatest crises in partnership with the church. The organization was founded in the aftermath of World War II to respond to the urgent humanitarian needs of war-torn Europe. Today, organizational programming focuses on humanitarian and disaster response, community strengthening and resilience, and refugee & immigrant services and advocacy.

This position is reliant upon funding and may be subject to modification or termination based on resource availability.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This individual will serve as a versatile marketing generalist and production assistant, supporting a wide range of non-specialized marketing requests and initiatives. While this position primarily supports marketing efforts tied to World Relief’s Church Product, it will also play a flexible role across other product channels such as Events and Conferences, Disaster Response, and others, depending on strategic priorities.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with the Project Manager on the intake and cross-channel marketing requests involving general content and digital requests using Asana project management software.
  • Serve as a first-line content and digital creator for Church Product marketing needs, facilitating creative asset production, digital content coordination, and internal team handoffs.
  • Support production of non-specialized digital content, including email copy drafts, basic Canva assets, basic HubSpot updates, etc.
  • Collaborate with the Content, Design, and Digital sub-teams to ensure timely delivery of channel-related collateral.
  • Partner with team leads to prioritize requests based on alignment with broader product channel goals, resource availability, and urgency.
  • Provide supplemental marketing support during major campaigns, emergency response, conferences, and seasonal donor engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure brand consistency, ethical storytelling, and donor-journey-aligned messaging in all outputs.
  • Maintain up-to-date familiarity with World Relief’s brand voice, The Path messaging, and donor personas to deliver content that resonates and converts.

  • Able to affirm and/or acknowledge World Reliefs Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity and National Evangelicals For the Health of The Nation document
  • Excellent organizational and project coordination skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Basic marketing knowledge, especially in email, digital, and content execution.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize according to strategic impact.
  • Proficiency with project management tools like Asana and digital collaboration platforms like Google Drive, SharePoint, Canva, and MS Office.
  • Understanding of storytelling best practices and ethical representation in humanitarian communications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Nonprofit Management or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in a communications or marketing support role.
  • Experience in a cross-functional, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience working with churches in a B2B relationship.
