Job Description

Deepgram is seeking a Head of Awareness Marketing to significantly elevate its brand recognition in the voice AI and enterprise ecosystems. Reporting to the CMO, this highly visible role involves architecting and executing an integrated awareness engine spanning PR, content, social media, video, and advertising. The ideal candidate is an AI-forward leader with a proven track record of building B2B brands and driving measurable awareness, comfortable with rapid change and innovative AI-first approaches.

  • Ensure consistent brand execution across product, web, content, campaigns, and comms
  • Partner with design and web teams to evolve visual identity and tone
  • Lead the strategy and execution for brand-forward video storytelling
  • Partner with creative and product marketing teams to develop thought leadership and brand narrative content
  • Drive distribution through owned and earned channels
  • 7+ years across brand and awareness functions, including social, PR, AR, influencers, video, and advertising
  • Proven track record of building B2B brands and driving measurable awareness
  • Social media fluency, especially in developer- and AI-centric communities

The Opportunity

Now that we have over 1,000 paying customers and are growing over 100%, we are looking for an awareness marketing leader to put Deepgram on the map! This role reports directly to the CMO and plays an instrumental role in driving Deepgram’s long-term success.

If you are a modern, AI-forward brand and awareness leader—versatile in all aspects of driving awareness, including social media, PR, AR, influencers, video, digital and print advertising (yes, we will be buying highway billboards)—you may be the perfect candidate to join our team. We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just follow trends, but sets them—an inventive, boundary-pushing thinker who knows how to break through the noise and lead markets with bold ideas. In this role, you will work alongside the CMO in a highly visible position with frequent touchpoints to the CEO and executive team. What You'll Do

PR / Influencer Marketing

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media, analysts, and key influencers
  • Develop and drive a strategic comms roadmap to elevate our industry profile

Digital and Print Advertising

  • Own awareness advertising campaigns across digital, podcast, OOH, and print

Social Media

  • Set the awareness strategy for Deepgram’s social channels to amplify our voice and reach
  • Create and curate compelling content that engages the AI and developer ecosystems
  • Establish KPIs and grow our audience, influence, and engagement across platforms

Brand

  • Refine and scale Deepgram’s brand positioning and identity across all channels
  • Ensure consistent brand execution across product, web, content, campaigns, and comms
  • Partner with design and web teams to evolve our visual identity and tone

Video

  • Lead the strategy and execution for brand-forward video storytelling
  • Partner with creative and product marketing teams to develop thought leadership and brand narrative content
  • Drive distribution through owned and earned channels
