We’re hiring our first Head of Brand & IP Partnerships to bring the most iconic brands in the world into Highrise—our avatar-based virtual world where millions of people express themselves, hang out, and build community.
This is a founding, high-impact role. You’ll identify, negotiate, and launch partnerships with brands across fashion, entertainment, and toys—from Mattel to Sanrio to emerging digital fashion houses. You'll work directly with our CEO, product, and creative leads to shape how external IP gets woven natively into the Highrise universe.
You’ll define how we integrate brand IP not just as decoration, but as lived expression: avatar fashion, social events, player-created rooms, identity layers. These partnerships will drive user growth, cultural reach, and monetization—all while reinforcing the authenticity of Highrise’s world.

Fashion brands bring powerful creative IP, deep emotional resonance, and native monetization potential in the form of drops, collections, and themed events. Highrise already operates like a social fashion platform—bringing in brands isn’t a bolt-on, it’s an amplification.

Identify and secure strategic IP partnerships with global brands in fashion, toys, and entertainment
Lead deal structuring, negotiation, and contract execution
Work cross-functionally to translate partnerships into live, playable product inside Highrise: avatar drops, themed events, immersive rooms
Own go-to-market and co-marketing strategy, ensuring high-impact launches with real player engagement
Build the IP integration playbook: internal standards, creative templates, launch protocols
Help shape how Highrise is perceived externally by brand partners, agencies, and collaborators
7+ years experience in partnerships, licensing, or brand development in gaming, fashion, entertainment, or social platforms
Demonstrated success closing and launching high-impact IP deals—ideally including fashion or character licensing
Deep understanding of fashion as culture and commerce, with a strong POV on how to translate brand identity into digital expression
A strong network in fashion, entertainment, or licensing—you can pick up the phone and start conversations
Highly collaborative but self-sufficient—you can operate solo, move fast, and unblock others
Strategic thinker with great taste and a bias for fast, high-quality execution
Within 3–6 months: You’ve signed and shipped our first major brand or fashion activation
Within 12 months: You’ve built a repeatable playbook and pipeline that delivers partnerships players love and talk about
Long-term: Highrise is seen as the go-to avatar world for fashion, IP, and cultural relevance—and your work made that happen
