Job Description

As a Business Manager for inert waste management, your main responsibilities will be:

• Supervise the "Inert and Bottom Ash Activities" scope across multiple sites, managing 45 employees and 18 million euros in annual revenue.
• Lead and optimize operational performance while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, local authorities, and regulatory bodies.
• Drive business growth by participating in tenders, establishing synergies between industrial units, and developing new activities and sites.
• Manage financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization.
• Oversee material recovery processes, develop partnerships for alternative materials, and encourage innovation in waste treatment solutions.
• Ensure team development through skills management, knowledge transfer, and recruitment in collaboration with HR.

Qualifications

Education: Engineer or Bac +4/5 in an industrial technical field.

Experience: At least 10 years in management (multi-site environment). You have demonstrated your ability to lead complex teams and projects in a demanding context, particularly in the industrial sector, with recognized experience in industrial engineering, process engineering, waste valorization, and circular economy, as well as in specific areas such as materials chemistry, mineral chemistry, or metallurgy.

Technical skills:

• Solid knowledge in social dialogue.
• Ability to ensure operational, budgetary, and financial performance.
• Fluent English.
